Mission
Mission
Our purpose is to reach those people who have questions about or claims against the Christian faith by inviting them into a conversation. We base our ministry on the credibility of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
At the same time, we want to equip believers with the tools they need to confidently, intelligently and well-articulately share the Gospel.
Vision
Apologetics. A commonly misunderstood term, apologetics might give the impression that someone is apologizing for something. This term though comes from the Greek “apologia” meaning defense through arguments. Biblically speaking, the terms are similar. „But sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, but with gentleness and respect; and keep a good conscience.” (1 Peter 3:15-16). In a context where the need for good apologetics seems to be greater than ever, ThinkAskPonder aspires to help people defend and explain the Christian faith, both at a common and academic level. By being able to offer a proper response to the contemporary secularism, our organization hopes to contribute to the spiritual balance of our society.
Evangelism. With evangelism as the core of our mission, we deliver lectures and engage in conversations about the Gospel. We do so in a variety of contexts – from mission weeks in universities, to church services, to public forums and conferences.
Spiritual formation. We want to offer as many courses and training sessions as possible so as to provide believers with opportunities to learn how to better explain their faith to their agnostic friends and colleagues. Our trainings are meant to answer and debate the most common questions and objections regarding the Christian faith, while paying a particular attention to the practical side of these questions.
