TAP Podcast

A podcast based on an interview format which tackles a wide range of topics aiming to offer relevant content to those who are thirsty after knowledge, curious about God or just looking for answers.

Faith in God does not mean we are to avoid all those difficult and sensitive problems present all over the world. That is why, this first episode of ThinkAskPonder podcast will address one of the most sensitive topics: the orphans. Who is responsible for them? Is adoption the solution? Can we avoid abandonment through abortion? Can we truly call God the Father of orphans? All these questions will be discussed with Liviu Mihaileanu, president and lobby & advocacy coordinator of Alianta Romania Fara Orfani (Romania Without Orphans Alliance).

The freedom of thought, conscience and faith represents one of the human fundamental rights. Thus, when it comes to faith, man has the freedom to believe or to deny whatever he wants. Unfortunately, most of the times when we engage in such conversatiosn, we become too firm with our opinions, regardless of the side we are on. In this second episode of the TAP podcast, we introduce you into a conversation about atheism with Lucian Balanescu. Our attempt is to better understand what the new atheism is proposing and what kind of Christianity is this rejecting.

We live in a modern and emancipated society and we seem to do just fine without God. Christianity no longer seems to play an essential role in the development and progress of civilization. To make things even more complicated, is enough to mention all those troubling and controversial stories of people who are supposed to represent Christ and His Church. In this context, we ought to answer questions such as: Why believe in God anymore? Or, what can we do to better defend our faith without being perceived as intolerant and abusive? This episode of ThinkAskPonder will answer these questions and more. Our guest is Father Francisc Dobos, former spokesman of the Roman-Catholic Archdiocese of Romania.

How badly are we suffering during times like these? Is anxiety a natural or normal response? What is the use of faith in building a balance?

In this episode we will we are talking about confronting the self, about loneliness and about encountering God. Guest: Paul Siladi, professor at the Orthodox Theology Faculty of the Babes Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca.

A very welcomed conversation with Dionis Bodiu & Vlad Crîznic about Mircale in Cell No.7, a popular movie in Romania during the pandemic.

Once the pandemic is over we might realize a doctor is more valuable than a priest and hospital more necessary than a church.
Or
Where is God in this pandemic?
Or
What is the point of faith anymore? Faith is for the weak, for those who cannot deal with the real problems of life on their own.

All these are questions or statements we have often heard lately and we want to address them in a conversation with Fr. Francisc Doboș and Vlad Crînzic.

To many, the transition from the emergency status back to normality does not cancel the crisis produced by Covid-19. Can this crisis be of any use? How much could faith in God possibly help us in times like these? We wrap up this special edition season with a conversation joined by Daniel Lar, managing director at Yonder. The ideas and thoughts of this conversation might prompt and encourage you.
